I hold a professional license from the state of Massachusetts in the following areas: K-8, Special Needs (Audition- all levels). I have a strong background in language which is the foundation for developing reading skills. I have many years of experience working with students on targeted reading skills allowing them to become successful, confident readers.

I meet the student where he or she is at in the writing process, and build his or her confidence. I am an experienced teacher of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, and use ASL (American Sign Language) to instruct and communicate with them. I also use ASL to communicate with deaf adults who work at the school. I have taken many classes in ASL to maintain my proficiency, and would be comfortable teaching this language to others.

I am an experienced teacher of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. I have worked with D/HH students in public school settings as well as in private school settings. I am comfortable individualizing content to meet the specific language/learning needs of the child. My goal is for the child to understand the language of the material involved in order to meet with success.
