I have studied foreign languages at different points of my life. I began to study French and Hebrew at age 8. Latin followed in 8th grade. I added German and Russian in college. I studied Italian as an adult. Because of my own learning experiences, I am uniquely qualified to teach students of all ages. I have always had a strong interest in history, and I took several history classes in college, and some for personal enrichment after college. I have worked as a substitute teacher in American History.I have translated letters written in the past from French and German into English.
I have taken classes in French grammar and conversation, which qualify me well for the position.
I have taken classes in German conversation and translation. I really enjoy speaking and studying German.
I am very familiar with English grammar because one has to understand how things work in one's own language to be able to teach how they occur in another language.
I have worked with non-native speakers of English and would really welcome the opportunity to do so again.
