I love to communicate with people, especially when I am helping them towards epiphany moments. I'm smart (I got 95th percentile on the MCAT), so I've often been a guy who other classmates come to for help. In addition to my education and my teaching, I have conducted research in several biology labs.
I graduated from Grinnell College with a bachelors in biochemistry and neuroscience. I scored in the 99th percentile on the chemistry portion of the MCAT. I taught at a private high school that only did one on one teaching, so I have lots of experience personalizing education.
I learned Spanish in school for many years (including AP Spanish), as well as several college level course at Grinnell College. I practice regularly with my Argentinean sister. I have had the opportunity to speak spanish at several of my jobs (health clinic, comedy theater).
I received A's in comparative physiology and biochemical adaptation from cal state long beach. I also worked at a lab that was attempting to create an artificial spleen (i.e. an implantable device that would naturally and appropriately release insulin).
I received a 34 on the science section when I took it back in high school, and I've only gotten better at understand how to attack and pick apart questions on the ACT science section.
