I have taught and tutored Algebra 1. The concepts of Algebra 1 are used in the subjects I teach.
Algebra 2 is a subject I have taught and tutored. Currently, I am licensed to teach Mathematics and Physics.
In addition to the Certification in Mathematics, I am very familiar with TI graphing calculators and how to use them. The use of the graphing calculator will help to check as well as understand the concepts being taught in Calculus.
A number of Chemistry courses were elected to satisfy requirements for my Physics Degree. I have tutored Chemistry various times. The overlap between Chemistry and Physics is quite large, so many of the topics have been studied in detail in both of the Chemistry and Physics courses already taken.
Geometry is used in various courses I teach currently. The applications of geometry in physics are numerous.

The ACT Science Section has been taught to students with an approach of logical analysis to improve scores on this section of the test. My physics background has exposed me to varied fields of science which aid in answering questions from the Science ACT.
Tutoring students for Elementary Math, brings me to explain the fundamental concepts essential to developing the various levels of abstraction. Making those connections earlier help to strengthen the concepts later in their studies. Seeing the various connections after procuring my degree and tutoring was enlightening.
Discrete Mathematics was a required course as a Mathematics Major. The topics included in the course span a wide range of fields. Making the connections from Math, to Computer Science, and Physics made the world smaller, yet made it known that there is still much to learn.
Both O.D.E. (Ordinary Differential Equations) and P.D.E. (Partial Differential Equations were required for both of my majors in Mathematics and Physics. The application of differential equations is prominent in Physics. Seeing the general view from the mathematical perspective and the application of it to situations helps to understand the topic well.
Linear Algebra was part of the curriculum as a Mathematics Major. The applications in the advanced courses of both Mathematics and in my other Major of Physics are immense. Seeing it applied to many dimensions and actually visualizing it is enlightening.
As a high school student I had studied it as part of the required curriculum. I have also taught it to high school students. Logic was also part of the Discrete Mathematics course I had taken at NYU which also included boolean algebra, it is related to logic.
As a graduate of the New York School System, a former tutor in the system and teacher in the system, I have worked with the various Regents Exams as they have transformed through the years. Having been a Mathematics and Physics double major, the connections within the subjects are more apparent which I like to convey to students to have a deeper understanding of the topics.
As a licensed Mathematics and Physics Teacher, the subjects of those components of the TEAS Exam are very familiar. Experience preparing students for the SAT and ACT also provided various encounters to understand pitfalls on the Reading and English sections of the TEAS Exam. The expanded curriculum of the Bachelor's of Science Degree obtained allowed for deeper understanding of the chemistry needed for the TEAS Exam.
The topics included in Finite Math are many of the topics included in Discrete Mathematics. And I have already taken the Discrete Mathematics class as an undergraduate at NYU as part of my major in Mathematics. The Finite Math applies the concepts to a variety of situations.
