Differential Equations

I got an A- in differential equations in my undergraduate studies. At graduate level I received an A in Applied Science for applications of ordinary differential equations, matrices and determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, systems of ordinary linear differential equations, Bessel and Legendre functions. Solutions also covered analytical solutions to partial differential equations, temporal and spatial, in Cartesian, cylindrical, and spherical coordinate systems. I also studied numerical methods to solve PDEs using finite element, finite difference, and finite volume methods.

Business

The unique nature of aluminum combustion, particularly the products of combustion, required consideration of the phase-equilibria. In addition, in grad school I studied classical and statistical thermodynamics.
