Art History

I am a collector. I studied art history in college and served for about 10 years on the advisory board of the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum. I keep up with the subject by attending classes and symposia. Most recently, I attended an all-day symposium on Edgar Degas at the National Gallery of Art on Friday, September 22, 2017.

Criminal Justice

I am an experienced attorney. I served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia from 1979 to 1985 and prosecuted local and federal criminal cases during that time. I tried about 50 jury trials to verdict. Since then I have served as a white collar criminal defense attorney

Social Studies

I have a bachelor's degree in political science from Mount Holyoke College where I also studied economics, history, sociology, and art history. I was a top student in social studies while in high school.

Political Science

I have a bachelor's degree in political science. I have been a political junkie since I heard John F. Kennedy speak on Long Island 3 days before the 1960 election. I served as an intern in the US Senate. I have a law degree. I read the Washington Post and New York Times daily. I watch CNN, MSNBC and FOX News daily. I have a prodigious knowledge of political trivia.
