Hi, my name is Gabriel and I'm a professional photographer and student. I attend Columbia University, studying Political Science and Business management. I'm currently on a gap year, running a media and photography business which does everything from portraits to real estate and commercial photography. I have done IT for over 7 years, most recently for the Pulitzer School of Journalism in NYC. I have worked with everything from Windows, Mac and Linux to building computers from scratch. I can fix and diagnose pretty much any problem on any operating system (hardware or software related). I am MS Office certified and have vast experience using many types of professional software (Adobe CC apps, quickbooks, etc).
I am a professional photographer and high-end retoucher that uses this software on a daily basis to edit all my high end photos. I have been using photoshop for over 10 years and professionally over 3. Through my business I retouch for fashion and portrait photographers all over the US, using photoshop on a daily basis. Additionally, I have been teaching photoshop and retouching in person and online for several years.
I am a professional photographer and retoucher that uses lightroom on a daily basis to edit and manage all my photos. Through my photography business I have taught several adobe CC applications (including Lightroom) and have significant experience both using and teaching it. I have also worked in IT for Pulitzer and due to the nature of it being a journalism school, I have had to instruct many people on how to use Adobe CC apps, lightroom included.
I am a Columbia University undergraduate student. I navigated the college admissions process and successfully gotten full scholarship offers to Columbia University, Duke University, and USC, Viterbi (the engineering school), along with several others. I have also worked as an intern for the Columbia University Office of Admissions and am familiar with what top-tier universities look for when admitting students. Additionally, I have counseled several high school students through the college application process on my own and as a volunteer with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (I was named a top 100 scholar in 2016).
