I tutored fellow undergraduates (underclassmen) formally and for credit as part of my undergraduate studies in political science. I was selected to assist with conducting a new self-guided computer introductory course in American Government. This was for a special section of an American Government 101 class at the University of Toledo. I was regularly on the Dean's and President's Lists in my undergraduate career, with over a 3.3 GPA. Beyond my undergraduate studies, I attended graduate school in one of the few programs in the country devoted to preparing professionals for work in campaigns and elections. I have led presentations and workshops on political subjects, including to high school social studies classes on government. My over 15 year career in political organizing on top of my academic studies positions me uniquely to provide a holistic and comprehensive perspective on politics and government for students.
