I began playing piano at an early age, and continued with self taught and educational learning throughout my college years. I have been blessed to play for many churches, school events, community endeavors and other applications throughout the United States. I have taught people as far away as in Paris, France, from ages 2 to 85. I teach basic, intermediate, and expert levels, in both piano and organ, classical and Gospel.

I have studied violin in school, taught it in schools and privately, and directed orchestras. I teach from beginning to intermediate violin, and have a passion for doing it correctly. In recent years, I studied further with a virtuoso violinist, Zhelin Scott, who now resides in Long Beach, CA.
I am at a regular teacher of handwriting to several individuals, including those with learning disabilities. Though it is not necessary now, I do some of my transcribing by hand to keep my skills fresh.
I homeschooled my daughter from kindergarten through fourth grade. I purposely used a plethora of resources to make sure that she was receiving all academic and arts offerings that were appropriate. Thankfully, she is a 2015 graduate, and is heading toward her junior year as a voice performance and Music education major.
