Although I studied music primarily during my university years, I continued coursework in Calculus and Physics while I was studying at New York University. I have tutored K-3rd grade math and emphasize accuracy, consistency, and fun!
I began ear training studies during my elementary school years and have taken 4 semesters of advanced course at New York University. I focus on rhythmic and contour (melodic) dictation, interval recognition, and harmonic understanding. Having access to a keyboard is helpful, although it is just as well to train the ear using the student's primary instrument.
