I worked as an undergraduate assistant in Genetics and Biochemistry at UCI and UCLA.
I am currently an MCAT Chemistry Instructor for a MCAT Preparation Company. I scored in the 97th percentile in the Chemical/Physical Foundations section of the MCAT. This section includes a diverse array of college-level chemistry questions ranging from general chemistry to organic chemistry along with college-level physics.
I was a biochemistry undergraduate assistant for UCLA's upper-division Chem 153A class where I worked closely with Dr. Heather Tienson. I taught midterm and final review sessions consisting of 200 students per session and helped manage discussion sections. As an undergraduate assistant, I was expected to attend weekly meetings to stay current with knowledge of biochemistry as to effectively facilitate learning amongst the students.
I am the main chemistry instructor for The Berkeley Review MCAT Preparation Company at both the Irvine and Westwood locations. I also teach biochemistry and physiology subjects. As an instructor, I manage a diverse classroom of students, ranging from undergraduates to students with master's degrees in the sciences.
