As a young child, my aunt spoke French to me. I studied the language all through Junior High, and High School, took more than the required amount of classes for a French minor, and even now when I'm no longer officially studying French, I use it on a regular basis, in conversation, and in writing. I'm fluent in spoken French and pretty near fluent in reading and writing it as well.
I do all kinds of writing: creative (poetry and short stories) academic essays and articles. I've worked with students to brainstorm ideas for their creative projects and have also done some editing and some collaborative writing as well.
I am a fluent Braille reader and writer. I am totally blind and have known Braille since the age of 3. I have been using it all of my life to do all of my coursework for school, have taught it to blind and sighted students, and am also proficient in adaptive technology that used Braille. I am more than qualified to tutor Braille.
