I have a passion and excitement in teaching computer science. At Georgia Tech, I learned most of my theoretical knowledge, but on the job is where I took up the practical skills. I've been working in software engineering field 2001. My experience has been in startup world and in game development. I first started making games in high school and college. General Computer

Java

I have a computer science degree from Georgia Tech and have extensive knowledge of Java from my degree at Georgia Tech. Most of my students are studying AP CS (Java) in highschool or college students taking Java courses. I've taught students from all over the country, so I'm familiar with the types of assignments and coursework from highschool teachers and college professors.

HTML

SQL

I've been working with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc) for decades. I've built dozens of applications that connect to SQL datastores. I have extensive experience in writing SQL queries, structuring databases, data mining and analysis.

ACT Math

Computer Programming

I have a computer science degree from Georgia Tech. In high school, I've been an engineering manager for about 6 years, and I have mentored junior developers and interns in software development. I have also taught computer programming professionally (through Craigslist) with professionals around Atlanta. For high school students, I took AP Computer Science A and B, so I'm somewhat familiar with the testing material.

PHP

I have been working with PHP for about over 10 years. I've built dozens of web applications that are PHP backend. It's a major language I work with in my current role at my company, and I'm happy to teach anyone the ins and outs of backend development.

Python

I have been working with Python 2 and 3 for about 6 years. It's the primary language I work with in my current role at my company. I've taught Python to multiple students and interns professionally. Love teaching the language since the syntax is great for beginners.

JavaScript

I have been working with JavaScript for over 10 years. It's one of the main languages I work with in my current role at my company. I've taught JavaScript to multiple students (middle school and college students). Typically, I teach JavaScript to students learning to develop websites; however, I have plenty of experience with NodeJS too for backend JavaScript development.

JQuery

I have been working with JQuery for over 10 years. With almost any JavaScript project, I use JQuery to make accessing elements easier and making AJAX requests a breeze. While JavaScript has matured over past few years, JQuery is still a valuable library for any web development project. Happy to share the specifics on how to use JQuery when building websites.
