Graduate from UC Davis that specializes in teaching math/chem/bio

I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor's of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. What I enjoyed the most about my major was the opportunity to tutor/teach a Microbiology lab my senior year. Learning interesting subject matter in the biological sciences was great, but teaching it and learning how to teach the subject matter in the case with my Microbiology lab was what made it enjoyable.

Algebra 1

I skipped two years of math in middle school by recommendation of my teachers due to my high proficiency in math and started Algebra 1 in 7th grade. I received A's in all math courses I took in high school except for calculus where I received a B+.

Algebra 2

I skipped a year of math in middle school and started learning algebra I in 7th grade by recommendation from my math teachers in elementary and middle school due to my proficiency in mathematics, which allowed me to start algebra II my freshman year of high school and take two years of calculus my junior/senior years.

Biology

I took two years of high school biology, with the second year being AP and received a 4 on the AP biology exam. I took one year of biology courses in university that are similar in subject matter to AP biology.

Chemistry

I took two years of chemistry in high school, one year honors and the other year AP. I received a 4 on the AP chemistry exam. In addition, I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and took a year in chemistry courses similar to the model of high school AP Chemistry.

Prealgebra

I skipped a year of math in middle school and started learning algebra I in 7th grade by recommendation from my math teachers in elementary and middle school, which allowed me to start algebra II my freshman year of high school and take two years of calculus my junior/senior years.

Precalculus

Due to my proficiency in mathematics and by recommendation of teachers in elementary and middle school, I have skipped several years of math in middle school, allowing me to start pre-calc during my sophomore year in high school, where I received an A in both semesters.

When I took the ACT, I received a 34/36 on the Math portion of the ACT and a 31 overall.
