I have many years experience in math and can explain math concepts clearly and concisely. I have tutored Prealgebra and Algebra and know all of the concepts from those subjects. I know the tips and tricks for learning and applying Prealgebra concepts.

Precalculus

I have a lot of experience using precalculus concepts in later calculus courses. I have tutored precalculus for several students and I know many ways to explain the concepts and how to solve precalculus problems. I know many tips and tricks for learning precalculus and becoming more confident solving math problems.

Latin

I have close to four years of tutoring experience in Latin. I have taken four years of Latin in high school and two semesters in college. I received a 5 on the AP Latin exam in my senior year of high school. I have experience working with translation of Ovid, Vergil, Caesar, and some Cicero. I have used the Cambridge Latin courses in high school, and the Wheelock's textbook in college.

Trigonometry

I have extensive experience using trigonometry in various courses and for many problems. I have tutored trigonometry as part of precalculus for many students. I know many tips and tricks for remembering trigonometry concepts and memorizing angle values and trigonometric formulas.

Java

I understand and can explain programming fundamentals such as loops, conditions, object oriented programming, recursion, and sorting and search algorithms. I received a 5 on the AP Computer science exam, which was entirely in Java. I have tutored Java and created many small projects in Java.

SAT Math

I have a lot of experience with various levels of math. When I took the SAT, I received a near perfect score (790/800). I have a good knowledge of the tips and tricks required for questions on the SAT and ACT.
