American History

Vocabulary

I have devoted more than forty years to the study of the Latin and Greek Classics. I hold the M.A. degree from Stanford University in the Classics, and am ABD (all-but-dissertation) for the Ph.D. from the same institution. My studies have furnished me with a deep knowledge of the etymologies of words. I myself have a large vocabulary, based in no small part on my Classical studies, and hence I am highly qualified to tutor in the subject area of vocabulary.

Grammar

My studies have furnished me with a deep and rigorous knowledge of Latin and Greek grammar, as well as of English grammar. Because of my decades of Classical studies, I am highly qualified to tutor in the subject area of grammar.
