I am a freelance writer who has had a 20+ year career as a corporate marketing director. I can help with your sentence structure, or help you with an essay, web contact article, magazine articles, or give your youngster a running start on his/her way to upper grades.
I have been using both PC and MAC computers for over 30 years and have troubleshooting experience, installing and uninstalling software and plugins, and the transfer of data to and from smart phones. Experience teaching adult classes for MAC basics, Microsoft word, and excel, mail servers, photos, Microsoft Word, Excel, Mail, Photos, and Adobe products - Illustrator, Photoshop, and Professional
I have also passed Wyzant's screening and testing process for reading, and writing. What's more, I love teaching kids.
I was a corporate marketing director for over 20 years in the fields of university fund-raising, law, and publishing. At a local school, I taught an adult class on how to switch careers, how to re-work a resume, how to interview and how to determine "what you want to be when you grow up." I am currently a substitute teach, tutor, and a graphic/web designer and freelance writer. I would love to help you to realize your dreams, or to find the path that will take you there. I hold a bachelor's from Neumann University. Feel free to contact me! Regards, Theresa
Twenty plus years in marketing and design, and currently design brochures, books, newsletters and web images using Adobe CS6. I now combine my art skills with Illustrator and Photoshop to make patterns for fabric, wallpaper and wrapping paper. I had several art history courses in college and have expanded my knowledge while traveling to museums in the United States and Europe.
I have used a MAC throughout my career extensively for design, desktop publishing and web design. Owners of MAC computers quickly learn that although MACS are wonderful machines, you can quickly become frustrated if you do not know how to troubleshoot - a skill I have honed, and continue to learn.
I have worked as a Marketing Director for 20+ years during which time I built marketing departments from the ground up. I managed a staff of up to 40 people, formulated annual marketing plans and campaigns, handled cross-marketing activities, and events. Timelines and tracking systems were built and results formulated.
During my 20+-year career as a Corporate Marketing Director, I was charged with designing on multiple levels. I began with PageMaker, and QuarkXPress,, which will give you an idea of how long I've been designing. I currently use Adobe products, which is the industry standard these days (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Professional). As a freelancer, I work on various types of projects. I create a vast array of marketing materials such as logos, business cards, brochures, newsletters and social media art. I am also a web content writer with the ability to offer clients web-optimized custom images that I design. Designing is my passion, as well as painting, but a skill that I have that is usually not offered by other designers is my experience to not only design and offer suggestions, but to produce art that is in line with every Google algorithm, something that is ever-changing. I love teaching adults, and sharing my knowledge. I feel that I have a true purpose in life!
I was brought up in a Catholic family, went to Catholic school and learned how to write cursive in first grade. I have taught my children to write cursive and helped with their printing. Also, as a graphic artist, I use varied fonts and have an excellent command of writing in both cursive and print.
