I completed both undergraduate and graduate coursework in Biology and have experience in Biology lecture and lab. Biology is the study of life and living organisms, most specifically on plants and animals. There are a lot of concepts and memorization in Biology, so increasing good study habits will maximize your chances at success. Some of my noted areas of expertise include the studying of living organisms, from single-celled organisms to multiple-celled plants, animals and humans; cellular structure and functions; evolution and natural selection; heredity and genetics and ecosystems; DNA and RNA; and carbohydrates and sugars.

I have experience in Geometry due to advanced high school and college courses taken and mastered. I enjoy learning and discussing shapes, sizes, relative position of figures, and properties using various formulas that measure area, perimeter, volume, and other aspects. I also enjoy general concepts of points, lines, planes, surfaces, angles, and curves.

I tutored middle and high school students during an afterschool program with Pre-Algebra and Algebra coursework. I am skilled in assisting students to solve math problems consisting of integers, one-step equations, inequalities and equations, graphs and functions, percent, and probabilities. Moreover, we review natural number arithmetic, new types of numbers such as integers, fractions, decimals and negative numbers, factorization of natural numbers, properties of operations (associativity, distributivity and so on), simple (integer) roots and powers, rules of evaluation of expressions, such as operator precedence and use of parentheses. I am also cognizant in aiding students with the basics of equations, including rules for invariant manipulation of equations, as well as variables and exponentiation.
