I am an engineering professional working at a company in Austin. I have both a PhD and a MS in aerospace engineering from the Univ of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to that, I pursued a MS in mechanical engineering from the Univ of Kentucky. My undergraduate degree is in mechanical engineering which I pursued back in India. I mentored/taught several undergrad students in engineering both while in school as well as at work. While in school, I faced several difficulties following concepts and h... [more]
I have several degrees in engineering and have taken several math courses focusing on differential equations. Moreover, my research in the last 10 years has focused on solving PDE's using numerical methods.
For the last 7 years, I have been working in an engineering company writing C++ code.
Since my started my graduate education in the US in 2002, I have been involved with programming. My research has focused on developing and programming computational methods to solve engineering problems.
I have a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering (2004), and earned an MS in Aerospace Engineering in 2006 and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering in 2009. I was a teaching assistant for 'Engineering Statics' course for an year between 2002 and 2003. Even though my second MS and PhD are in aerospace engineering, the course work I completed has focused on Engineering Mechanics which is just the same that is taught in Mechanical Engineering.
