I have a degree in Music Education from the University of the District of Columbia. I'm retired from the Army Band and have performed and traveled the world over playing varying styles of music from classical, jazz, pop, R&B, soul, funk, etc. I play several instruments though I'm a trumpeter and composer by profession. I went to school for music Education and also was an assistant band director at a High School where I taught brass, woodwind, percussion, vocal and string music classes. Also, in the Army I went to both the Army and Navy Schools of music where I further my study as an educator and trainer.
I double on trombone and trumpet, also I attended college and both the Army and Navy school of music while in the Army Band as a trumpet player. I have years of experience playing and teaching trombone.

While in the army I took courses from both the Army and Navy schools of music in music production and also used those same skills to record music and produce commercial advertisements for the Army Band and the USO as well.
