I excel in mathematics, I have a firm grasp of the concepts of Algebra I and Algebra II. I often apply Algebraic principles to assist in my work with Computer Aided Design programs. I have always scored in the 99th percentile on standardized testing, ACT/SAT/AP tests. I understand how important it is to take the time to write out every step of an Algebra equation. Combined with a firm grasp of the lesson's concepts, writing out all of the equations, avoids many of the mistakes to which Algebra students are prone. It also helps create an understanding of what concepts are misunderstood. This is essential as the lessons are cumulative.
I found myself with extra time in Algebra 2 because of an excellent teacher. With this free time in class I pushed myself to program my calculator to generate the equation formats that would appear in the book -- to prompt and solve for the appropriate variables. The next year we thought it would be appropriate to take two math classes and move into the accelerated math track!
I have been utilizing InDesign for creation and editing of my professional portfolio for five years, and I have taken two courses specifically dedicated to use and formatting in InDesign. This is my go to for all presentations.
