Hello! My name is Sarah, I am a mother of three small children who are the center of my world. I am also a licensed elementary teacher with concentrations in both science and social studies. I have my bachelor's degree in elementary education. Passing my Praxis tests, student teaching in the United States and Europe, and, when out of the teaching profession, continued with my craft as a trainer. This has given me an abundance of experience and knowledge with various learning styles, levels, and abilities. I believe this experience will help my students thrive.
Adobe InDesign
My previous occupation was to create and edit medical manuals in Adobe InDesign. I was not only proficient in working with this software in the day to day, but I also taught it as the trainer of our department. I believe my skills with both teaching and this software will help all my students succeed.
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook was a program I used daily in my day to day activities as a Desktop Publisher. This includes the mail portion, scheduling, and journal sections of the program. As the trainer for the department I have also helped others learn this program well enough to become proficient.
Praxis
I have taken and passed the Praxis test in the past. I have also kept up with the test by looking at current copies of study guides so I can make sure my license remains relevant. Helping to study for this test is something I would be very helpful in.
