My name is Ryan, and I am a High School Science Teacher at Carney High School by day and a science tutor by night! I have been passionate about the subject of science my whole life. When I graduated High School, I knew I wanted to study science; therefore, I went to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK to study Biology. Biology was my main subject of study while I was attending college. While in college I tutored other biology students while I was working as a Resident Assistant for the dorms. After college, I moved on to teaching and I have been teaching biology in the High School Setting for 2 years since.
I have had numerous courses in chemistry while attending college. I studied biology as a main subject in college, but one can't know biology without knowing chemistry. I have been teaching Chemistry at Carney High School for about a year and I have had very promising results from the students who go through my class.
I majored in Science education with an emphasis in Biology. While studying I took an extensive human anatomy course and a human physiology course as electives. When I started teaching, the first course I was told to teach was human anatomy and physiology. During the course I helped many students get through their career tech courses for nursing.
I have been teaching physical science for about a year. While studying to be a science teacher I had to take various science courses. This included: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Physics. Physical Science is a course that is a combination of all these sciences. I have taught many of these sciences so it is only natural that I am qualified to teach physical science.
