Hi! Welcome to my page. I am currently an MSU PhD student studying diseases in dairy cattle. I have not had previous experience teaching or tutoring, but I am planning to become a professor after graduating. Tutoring will give me great experience working with students and will also help supplement my graduate stipend! I received my bachelors degree in Zoology from MSU. My concentration was in Neurobiology and Animal Behavior. During that time, I worked at a nature center, caring for wildlife. I also went on study abroad to Africa to study mammalian behavior.
I took multiple courses in biostatistics, and my dissertation work is largely focused on statistical modeling.
I have been using Stata for a few years and am very familiar with it. I am using it for my dissertation analysis.
I received my masters in Epidemiology from MSU. I worked as an asthma epidemiology surveillance intern at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. I have published articles in this topic area.
