I currently possess a Masters Degree in Teaching Students with Disabilities and have experience within the classroom setting as well as in the home setting working with children with Special Needs. I have taught as a Special Education Teacher, have tutored and babysat many children, and I volunteer at a summer camp for 7 years in which I am paired with my own camper (I have been paired with children with Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Autism, are Nonverbal, etc.). I have implemented lesson objectives, plans, and activities for NJ Common Core Standards alongside a General Education Teacher. I have been responsible for making modifications and accommodations for students with Special Needs. I have also written many IEPs, participated in annual IEP meetings, referred children to OT, PT, and Speech Therapy.
