My specialty is working with students in transactional subjects: this includes Contracts, Property, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Business Associations, Wills, Trusts and Estates. These topics can be especially difficult for law students as they require great attention to detail. During law school I found that classmates who had excelled in other subjects such as Criminal Law and Torts, had great difficulty with transactional law. I started to tutor my friends in these subjects and saw a difference in their grade point average. This trend has continued in my career as a professional tutor and can benefit you. Give me the chance to assist you in your law school career.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience tutoring children and adults with learning disabilities. My specialty is working with individuals who are in law school or taking the Bar. At the same time, I have worked with many students on a number of subjects and have helped them to overcome their learning challenges. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is commonly diagnosed, but it effects every student in a different way. Previous students I worked with were ready to give up because they found studying such a challenge. In one case a student of mine could not maintain his focus through prolonged periods of reading. We tested out shortened spurts of reading to see if this would improve his focus and retention. It did and he was able to succeed in the course. During our work you will learn how to work with your disability, and even come to see it as an advantage in certain contexts. Afterwards you will be able to take on any project with much greater confidence.
Passing the UBE was a great challenge but taught me how to approach the exam. I have used this experience to help several students pass the test. I have worked with students who have learning disabilities and it is a special interest of mine. In one case I helped a student with learning disabilities pass the UBE by planning his schedule and managing all aspects of his preparation.
