While serving as bar exam grader for the Georgia Office of Bar Admissions, I fell in love with legal education and wanted to prepare students for the bar exam, so I became a law school faculty member and administrator. I have taught legal skills, writing for the bar exam and ethics for the past ten years. I also serve as a national lecturer for Kaplan Bar Review, specializing in essay writing and preparing for the Multistate Performance test. I currently teach Professional Responsibility and I am designing a comprehensive bar preparation program at the Georgia State University College of Law, as the Director of Academic Success. I tutor the whole student, including creating a bar success plan that considers the individual student's strengths, challenges, resources and other life factors.
