Computer Programming is an invaluable skill in any modern STEM field. As an aspiring full-time electrical engineer and current undergraduate intern, creating simplistic and organized code facilitates better project design overall. Bill Gates said that everyone should learn how to code because it teaches you how to think; I could not agree more. Logical thinking and working through concepts often takes time, but it ensures consistently accurate results. Computer Programming is the best application of this type of thinking today, and its wide-ranging use and applications make it a worthwhile skill to learn.

MATLAB

I have extensive experience with MATLAB simulation design and integration, including general programming, Graphical User Interface (GUI) design, and system modeling in Simulink. Particular experience in electrical engineering: control, communication, and power systems.

Finite Math

Finite Math encompasses basic/intermediate math excepting calculus: probability, statistics, matrices, algebra, logic, etc. I have taken advanced coursework in stochastic modeling and random processes, covering undergraduate statistics/probability courses fully. In addition, I have taken linear algebra, digital logic design, and discrete math coursework: all of which incorporate and expand on basic finite math concepts, including real-world applications.
