As an AMI Montessori trained Elementary teacher, I ran a classroom with 1st through 6th grade children this past year. I gave lessons in all subjects: science (physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science); history; math and geometry; language; geography (political and economic); music; and art.
As an undergraduate, Linguistics was one of my majors (along with Psychology). I also minored in Brain and Cognitive Science with a focus on Language Development. I have a strong understanding of phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics as well as the cognitive processes behind language acquisition, bilingualism, and reading.
