My name is Daniel and I have graduated from UC Irvine with degrees in Aerospace Engineering (B.S) and Mechanical Engineering (B.S., M.S.), and I am currently a PhD candidate with a specialization in alternative fuel combustion. One of the main activities that I enjoy to take part in is teaching. It is a great way to apply what I have learned and it gives me great satisfaction to see students have the 'aha' moment, when I explain difficult concepts in a variety of ways that are easier to under... I began tutoring in 2008 at Mathnasium as a Learning Center Instructor as a senior high school student. Here I tutored everything from Algebra I and II, to Geometry and Calculus. As a university tutor for UC Irvine, I led group tutoring sessions in college level math and physics for over 100 students over the course of three years from 2009-2012. Since then, I have been primarily focused on offering one-on-one assistance with high school and university level math for students from all across Orange County.
My first experience tutoring calculus was as a Learning Center Instructor at Mathnasium in 2008. The following year, I became a university tutor for UC Irvine and led group tutoring sessions in college level math and physics for over 100 students over the course of three years from 2009-2012. My first and eventually favorite subject to tutor was calculus as it was my favorite subject in math, and since then I enjoy injecting my calculus tutoring sessions with my enthusiasm for the subject.

I have tutored Differential Equations for students at both UC Irvine and UC Riverside in one-on-one sessions, and have also help group tutoring sessions as a university tutor for the Differential Equations course for engineering students at UC Irvine during the 2010-2011 school year.
My expertise in Mechanical Engineering comes from almost 10 years of university level education and research at UC Irvine. I completed my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering in 2012 followed by my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2013. After working one year as an engineer for an HVAC contractor in Huntington Beach, I returned to UC Irvine to begin graduate school for Mechanical Engineering, specializing in alternative fuel combustion. I completed my M.S. in 2017 and I am currently a PhD candidate seeking to degree within the next two year.
